Formerly known as the Alcoa Building when Alcoa still owned, this building is now known as The Regional Enterprise Tower. The facade is made of aluminum because Alcoa was trying to show off its product. Alcoa moved its headquarters to the bank of the Allegheny River. Regional Enterprise Tower is located next to Mellon Square. Mellon Square is a park on top of a parking garage. Across Mellon Square is Three Mellon Bank Center. Together these two tall buildings shadow the sqaure. Mellon square is one the places in the City of Pittsburgh where you can obtain free wireless Internet. |
